Day 1 – Saint Martin
St Maarten is the ideal starting point on any Caribbean yacht charter vacation. With the island’s main international airport located by the shores of beautiful Simpson Bay, guests can enjoy a short and comfortable transfer to the yacht. Once aboard, you’ll be greeted with welcome cocktails before we make the short trip to Grand Case for an evening at anchor. The charming French half of the island is home to an array of gourmet bistros and chic bars that line its winding Mediterranean-style streets. There’s also the opportunity to visit the high-end boutiques and the iconic Marigot market if shopping is on the menu.
The first afternoon is the perfect time to get acquainted with the yacht and everything it has to offer. Make full use of the sundeck bar and the stewardess’s cocktail-making skills while unwinding in the onboard Jacuzzi or catching some rays on a sunbed. For further relaxation, check out the spa and arrange for a massage or other spa treatment. Looking for a little more action? Get your thrills on one of the many toys we have onboard, like the inflatable slide, jetskis, Seabobs, waterskis, wakeboards, Efoils, and inflatable water toys. Once evening sets in, Grand Case makes the perfect backdrop for unforgettable sunset cocktails on the thin strip of white sand, where we’ll set up our comfortable loungers and umbrellas.
Day 2 – Anguilla
Close to St Martin lies Anguilla. This lesser-developed island offers a pristine, natural paradise and a laid-back atmosphere. Famous for its ecologically important coral reefs, Anguilla is home to seven marine parks and intentionally sunken ships and is any snorkeler or diving enthusiast’s dream location. Our Captain is always keen to lead a dive excursion to one of his favorite dive spots.
On dry land, palm trees line the spectacular beaches where guests can enjoy bbq and cocktails at one of the many local beach bars. Or, have the crew arrange one of our famous beach setups where you and your party can enjoy some of the bluest waters of the Caribbean.
For an extra special evening, let us create an intimate atmosphere as you enjoy dinner underneath the stars and right on top of the water as we present dinner on the swim platform.
Day 3 – St Barths
Loon will depart early for the gorgeous St Barths, where we’ll drop anchor at La Petite Anse right in front of Nikki Beach. Later in the afternoon, we’ll head to Port Gustavia, where we’ll dock for two nights so you can experience everything St Barths has to offer.
St Barths has long established itself as the destination of choice for the world’s most influential. With a distinctly French vibe overlaying the island’s natural beauty, its center is home to high-end restaurants, designer stores, lively nightlife, and picturesque beaches. Gustavia and the entire island offer plenty to do for all types of visitors.
On land, keen hikers can explore the trails that lead to hidden beaches and beautiful natural pools. Visit the Inter Oceans Museum and view their collection of over 9,000 seashells, sea-themed art, shark jaws, and giant conch shells.
To experience life underwater, the island boasts an impressive nature reserve that’s home to 165 colorful fish species, 45 different coral species, and plenty of sea turtles. Experienced divers can explore the shipwrecks of Kayali, one of St Barths’ most famous shipwrecks, and a luxury yacht that sank during Hurricane Hugo.
Day 4 – St Barths
It’s time to explore! Let Loon’s Captain guide you on an ATV tour around the island, where you’ll stop at all the beautiful bays for a swim and refreshments. We’ll make a pit stop at La Plagepearl Beach for a light lunch before heading back to Loon for the afternoon. Enjoy scuba diving at one of the outer reefs, or arrange for a pampering afternoon with spa treatments on the swim platform. Enjoy a lavish dinner onboard, or let us make reservations at one of the exclusive restaurants on the island.
Day 5 – St Barths
Wake up to an indulgent breakfast and spend the day doing as little or as much as you please. Brush up on your wakeboard, jetski, windsurf, or Efoiling skills by taking full advantage of Loon’s crew that are experienced water sports enthusiasts and some having semi-pro status who are all happy to share tips and tricks for beginners and experts alike. If you’re eager to learn or further your scuba knowledge, take full advantage of Loon’s PADI diving school status. If rest and relaxation are on the cards, lie back, order a fresh fruit cocktail, and soak up the sun. Enjoy lunch onboard, or let us whisk you over to one of St Barth’s famous restaurants, then spend the afternoon burning it off by exploring by paddleboard or taking a spin on a Schiller Bike.
Day 6 – Barbuda
The crew will depart early so guests can wake to the beautiful and peaceful island of Barbuda. Known as Antigua’s little sister, the island is largely undeveloped and is world-renowned for its long stretches of unspoiled natural beaches, stunning pink sand beaches, and a large lagoon. Around 1,500 Barbudans call the island home, and most live in the village of Codrington. After the devastation caused by Hurricane Irma in 2017, the islanders and its visitors are happy to see the island returning to its former self.
Enjoy lunch on Princess Diana Beach with the ultimate superyacht beach BBQ setup. It’s no problem for the Loon crew to bring along your favourite yacht toys to the beach for a bit of entertainment whilst the chef is preparing a feast. Spend the afternoon spotting the many different species of birds and animals as you explore the mesmerizing caves, sinkholes, and bays on a tender trip around the area.
Day 7 – Saba Island
Onwards to Saba Island. At just five square miles, Saba may be tiny, but it has a lot to offer. Saba is unlike other Caribbean islands. It holds its own unique charm, with zero crime, traffic lights, high rises, fast-food restaurants, casinos, cruise ships, crowds, or beaches. The Saba Marine Park protects the island’s 30 dive sites and boasts some of the best diving in the Caribbean. Saba’s art scene is thriving, and enthusiasts can check out the Five Square Gallery or shop for Saba lace or the incredible glass art from Jo Bean’s studio.
We’ll make the most of the morning and hike up Mount Scenery for one of the most spectacular views in the Caribbean. After lunch, take the plunge to explore Saba’s underwater world and its kaleidoscopic colors and spot sea turtles, parrot fish, barracuda, and maybe even whale sharks. Dinner can be hosted onboard, where we can arrange for some local musicians to entertain. For dinner with an unforgettable view, the Queens Garden Resort features an intimate dining table they call the Birds Nest. Built up in a 100-hundred-year-old mango tree, the Birds Nest offers incredible views across the island.
Final Day
Our final morning starts with an early cruise back to Saint Martin. After a last indulgent breakfast, we’ll say a fond farewell at mid-day and give you one last chance to experience the charm of the island before your flight home.
